The Wellness Screening evaluates the functionality of your cells and organs at the energetic level; in essence, a “reality check” for your health and wellbeing. The purpose is to screen information about energetic imbalances in the organs and to intervene with lifestyle modification to prevent silent health challenges—even long before the first symptoms arise—so you can enjoy life to its fullest. Conventional medical screening, so-called “early detection,” assesses structural changes in the body; so, it’s more difficult to achieve good results with lifestyle modification at this stage.
This MD-designed Wellness Screening consists of the following:
Personal Health History: Review of all past health and medical events, plus review any and all risk factors.
Physical Exam Neuro-Cardiac & Assessment Blood Tests
Heart Rate Variability (HRV, Neuro-Cardiac Fitness test): HRV evaluates the balancing act between the sympathetic nervous system (fight and fight) and the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest). An imbalance in HRV is the #1 risk factor for sudden cardiac death. HRV, as monitored from an individual’s heart rhythm, is the most powerful indicator of both cardiovascular health and general well-being. HRV testing is a predictive indicator of cardiac condition, fitness, stress levels, aging, health risk levels, chronic disease condition and more.
HeartSmart IMT™ (Intima-Media Thickness Assessment): Carotid Intima-Media Thickness (CIMT) is a measurement of the innermost layers of the carotid artery wall by ultrasound imaging. This is where atherosclerosis begins. Using a non-invasive ultrasound, a video of the carotids is made and then analyzed for the presence of atherosclerosis and detection of soft and hard plaque at its earliest stages.
The artery from the heart to the brain, known as the carotid artery, is widely accepted as the ideal indicator for the early detection of heart disease. The carotid artery mirrors change in disease progression of the coronary arteries that surround the heart. The carotid artery illustrates the earliest signs of arterial wall thickening and lesion development.
HeartSmart IMTplus™ is a newly available diagnostic method for the early detection of heart disease. It assesses the presence and progression of cardiovascular disease at its earliest stages. It is the most predictive test available for calculating an individual’s likelihood of suffering a heart attack or stroke.
EndoPAT (Peripheral Arterial Tone)
The EndoPAT evaluation is a non-invasive test that looks to see if the lining of the arteries are damaged. Endothelial cells line the inner walls of the heart and blood vessels. Damage to these cells is the earliest clinically detectable stage of cardiovascular disease we can observe. Normal endothelial function protects blood vessels from atherosclerosis, hardening of the arteries, or plaque buildup.
Endothelial Function Assessment–People with high blood pressure or cholesterol are at an increased risk of heart attack and stroke. Now, a new device that clips onto your finger can tell by sensing a lack of elasticity of your blood vessel lining, a condition called endothelial dysfunction. A poor score is a stronger warning than the usual risk factors because it has already begun—but at an early stage when you can more easily control your risks.
Electro-Photonic Imaging (EPI/GDV):
The EPI system provides non-invasive, painless and almost immediate evaluation, which can highlight potential health abnormalities prior to even the earliest symptoms of an underlying condition, and suggests courses of action. These may include identifying an area for further medical exploration, suggesting products that may be beneficial (such as vitamins, minerals, supplements), or evaluating energy, stress and vitality.
EPI utilizes a weak, completely painless electrical current applied to the fingertips for less than a millisecond. The body’s response to this stimulus is the formation of a variation of an “electron cloud” composed of light energy photons. The electronic “glow” of this discharge (invisible to the human eye) is captured by an optics CCD camera system and then translated into a digital computer file.
Genetic Testing (optional)
Neuro-Endocrine Testing (optional)
